Our church yard sale will be August 19 and 20, 8:00 a.m. – 2:00 p.m. You may start bringing your donations at any time and place them in the Sunday school room.
We need volunteers in the days before the sale to help set up tables, hang clothes, place items on tables, etc. The day of the sale will need people to greet our customers, help them make selections, bag their items, and make change. Can you help? Please contact Diane Hamilton, Kimberly Miller or Karen Rauch to volunteer.
Tons of items for you to purchase. This sale is anticipated by the community each year! Nothing is priced. Cash and carry, and we give all proceeds to charities, and ask Jesus to touch your heart to give appropriately and willingly.

Senior Care Center Churches are Re-Opening!
We are joyful to announce that after our long forced absence due to COVID19, Hayesville House nursing home re-opened on June 9th for our worship service, Thursdays at 10:00 a.m. On June 24th, Chatuge Care Center in Hiawassee likewise re-opened for our worship service on Fridays, at 10:00 a.m. The residents are overjoyed to worship the Lord and celebrate Holy Communion with our lay ministers. It is an incredible miracle to see the faces of the residents, so long denied by the pandemic, able to worship once again, and raise their voices in song!
We don’t have a date yet, however, we’re working with Tusquittee senior care center in Tusquittee, NC and Covenant House in Murphy, NC to re-start our visits and services there very soon. Please pray that we may re-join the seniors in the last two care homes.

New Ministry: “Set Free” Healing Prayer
Christ the King Church has started a new ministry of healing, led by Deacon Darlene Collom.
Many Christians are unaware how much they need healing of mind, body, soul, or spirit until they are desperate and nothing they try helps. Ask yourself if this is where you are. Knowing you need help is the key to moving towards it. Ask the Holy Spirit, “Could Christian healing ministry be for me?”
“The Spirit of the Lord is upon me, because the Lord has anointed me to bring good news to the poor; he has sent me to bind up the brokenhearted, to proclaim liberty to the captives, and the opening of the prison to those who are bound” Isaiah 61:1 .
