Every year Samaritan’s Purse has collected shoebox gifts filled with toys, school supplies, and hygiene items for children around the world. Since 1993, more than 209 million children in more than 170 countries and territories have received an Operation Christmas Child shoebox. The project delivers not only the joy of what, for many kids, is their first gift ever, but also gives them a tangible expression of God’s love.
Shoeboxes can be picked up in the Fellowship Hall. You can also build a shoebox online by selecting items at https://sampur.se/47MaQBd. This is $25 which includes the $10 shipping fee. You can also add $6 for the cost of materials to send the child to a 12 week class to learn about Jesus. We aim for 40 boxes by Sunday, November 18, 2024. For questions, contact Karen Rauch.
